AMANDA CORMIER

Growing up in Smithers BC I learned to ski at a young age but it wasn't until we later moved to Kelowna where my true love for snowboarding began. I still remember my first time at Big White – I was blown away by the never ending lifts and all the runs lit up for Friday night skiing.

Over the years I have been involved in many snowboard camps and after school programs from helping people refine their skills to helping kids find the same love for the mountain that I have. After finishing a dual diploma in Marketing and Hospitality and Tourism Management I accepted a job with Big White Ski Resort as a Groups Coordinator. I spent the next 2.5 years immersed in the culture of Big White as a year round resident. I purchased my first condo in Snowpines and was welcomed with open arms to the strong core community of Big White.

Wanting to challenge myself I later decided to pursue Real Estate and made the transition back to Kelowna. Although I still enjoy selling real estate in Kelowna I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to be back working at Big White helping people with their Real Estate goals and

finding the same love for the local community that I have.

When not working, you can find me snowboarding on the hill during the winter months and downhill mountain biking in the summer. I previously held the position of Director with the Big White Mountain Chamber of Commerce and am involved in all the Okanagan has to offer.

Big White is a magical place with endless opportunities and only continues to grow and I hope to be a part of helping you find a special place at Big White to call home.
